The Vision and Partnerships
The church is located on a two and half acre land about six kilometers from Athi River town. We call it: Christ Compassion Ministry Healing and Empowerment Center – Church on The Hill. The area is not serviced with public transport. Due to this need, the Lord helped the church to acquire one bus and hires others depending on the need every Sunday. We believe the Lord will bless us with more buses to ease the transport needs.
Initially, we were located in Athi River Town and our vision to relocate was threefold:
- To set up a sanctuary,
- To set up a school of ministry and conference facility, and
- To set up the prayer tower.
We currently conduct our services in our school of ministry main dining hall that is in the last stage of completion. It’s basement is available 24 hours, 7 days a week for personal prayers and time with God. We are also setting up comfortable guest rooms in the upper floor, which will offer good accommodation to guests that may need uninterrupted time at the hill for prayers. This facility will in completion be used as the church service hall while the main sanctuary is being built.
Active in the development plan is also the construction of the main sanctuary. The Lord has granted us the approvals that were challenging to obtain. We are now reaching out to you as dear friends to stand with us in earnest prayers and resources to have this dream come true. The full design and master plan is shown in the picture below:
